Baby vaccinations side effects
Like any medication, vaccines can have side effects, but the majority of these are mild and temporary.
Some common side effects of baby vaccinations include:
- Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site
- Mild fever
- Irritability or fussiness
- Drowsiness or sleepiness
- Loss of appetite
More serious side effects are extremely rare, but can include allergic reactions or seizures. If you notice any unusual or concerning symptoms in your baby after vaccination, be sure to contact your healthcare provider immediately.
It’s important to remember that the benefits of vaccination far outweigh the risks of any potential side effects. Vaccination is a safe and effective way to protect your child from serious illnesses and diseases.
