What not to have in a nursery?

Soft bedding: This includes pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals in the crib. These items can also pose a suffocation risk.

Window blinds or cords: Window blinds or cords can pose a strangulation hazard to infants and young children. Instead, opt for cordless window treatments or use cord wraps to keep cords out of reach.

Heavy furniture: Bulky or heavy furniture can be difficult to move and rearrange as your child grows and their needs change. It’s better to choose furniture that is lightweight and easy to move around.

Electrical outlets and cords: Keep electrical outlets covered and cords out of reach of curious little hands to prevent accidents.

Too much clutter: A cluttered nursery can make it difficult to keep clean and can be overwhelming for your baby. Keep only the essentials in the nursery and store the rest elsewhere.
