Is it proper to punish or correct a child by starving the child?

This is a very Bad Parenting I must say, some parents don’t see anything bad in it though.

That’s why we are here to enlighten ourself on sensitive issues like this.

Why you must not starve a child

Know this as a Parents that

Starving a child is not punishment it’s abuse.

While raising a child as parents, we need to be aware of our emotions and the emotional needs of the child .

When a child is misbehaving – there may be a plethora of reasons, one way can be – the child is saying NO – and that’s fine too.

As parents we need to look into why the child is behaving in a certain way, what’s their emotional need at that circumstance and connect with the child.

Punishing is just a temporary solution which can/may make the child feel unsafe and may cause fear within the child.

Parenting through Controlling or Fixing or Fear based may not benefit the child in a long term – as I feel.

Connecting to the child emotionally and correcting them may give better results.

And finally

Correction should be done in love. Starving a Child is not the solution.
