  4. Logical consequences: Use consequences that are directly related to the misbehavior. For example, if a child makes a mess, they should be responsible for cleaning it up.

  5. Verbal reprimands: Use calm, firm language to explain why their behavior is not acceptable.

  6. Natural consequences: Allow children to experience the natural consequences of their behavior. For example, if they forget their lunch at home, they may be hungry at school.
